TWO CREDIBLE SOURCES DUE ON JUNE 1

June 8, 2006

Well, the two credible and reliable sources that I used to do my research were the Online Research Journals & Articles and the Univision Hispanic News. I used theses sources because I found interesting and gave it to me all the specifics examples and the material that I was looking for. First the “Online Research Journals & Articles” brings me the details, my time was more accurately, for example I didn’t have to expend too many hours looking for what I needed and also it takes me to many times to go the library and find a good book. That’s why I decided to find information from the internet. I get out late from the school and after that I have to go to work and I believe that the internet is the best and fast way to help to do this research. Also the other resource that I used was the “Univision News” that it also was from the internet. I think these source are reliable and credible because my believe is about the illegal immigrants and “Univision News” is a Spanish side in which everyday talks about the immigrants and their status. I also found very goods facts in the “journals and articles” and gave me clear results such as examples and people opinions.

I believe that people have the freedom to change themselves and their circumstances if they really want to. I believe this because people make mistakes and they can learn from them. Making mistakes can change and shape a person because if the mistake is negative, we can always make things positive. For example, a person who is not working maybe living in a poor condition but this person can change that by working harder to make their life little better. Another example where a person can change is if we are in a relationship with the person that we love and everything is going bad and is not working out, we can change circumstance by ending the relationship Talking things out with ours partners.

Instrumental Value is when something is valued instrumentally, that means we only value it as a means to achieve some other end which is, in turn, more important. Thus, if my car is of instrumental value, that means that I only value it insofar as it allows me to accomplish other tasks, such as getting to work or the store. Instrumental values play an important role in teleological moral systems – theories of morality which argue that the moral choices are those which lead to the best possible consequences (such as human happiness). This is, the choice to feed a homeless person is considered a moral choice and is valued not simply for its own sake but, rather, because it leads to some other good – the well-being of another person.
